I have yet another crisis with my mother who is in the hospital, again, after another doctor broke protocol and decided to do something to her that she had another primary doctor taking care of and doing well with.
Now her blood sugar level is struggling to get and stay above 50. So she experienced insulin shock and incoherence.
I won;t file a suit against the other doctor, but even the ER doctor said he simply cannot believe this doctor did that. He was appalled........
ALL this as we were on the brink of having her standing up and taking a few steps with her walker for the first time since a week after Christmas, two days in Hospice, a month in a hospital where we got her kidneys working again, and a month at re-hab and now home therapy with myself and my brother helping in between days the therapist is there.
Hopefully she gets this JUNK out of her system and returns to normal by tomorrow, and she has not lost strength in her legs which we have been building up for a month. She MUST walk again. Nothing else really wrong with her except meddling doctor.
I will have my daughter the health LAWYER give the doctor a call and gently tell her that she is never to administer to my mom any medication that has anything to do with diabetes, she has a diabetes specialist who is in charge of that.
Hopefully, this call will suffice and we can avoid the legal procedures.
I am not interested in that. Just want MOM to get well and back to her old self before Christmas time.
First dinner out is on me!
