Rather sad and pathetic to see Wavoids flitting from board to board using new monikers to excoriate the folks who had things more right than wrong.
It turned out the visionaries had no idea. They caught a theory lobbed to them by SKS and held it aloft like it was the result of a home run.
They corralled a bunch of optimistic neophytes and held them in place using the power of slightly more knowledge to refute any counter-argument.
But in the end, they have been found out. Does anyone care about standards any more? Does anyone think the argument for technological inevitability holds water?
The pitiful folks who believed in that stuff when the evidence showed otherwise are left clasping an empty bag of wind. All that is left is the attitude.
And the pilgrimmage to the spaces where wisdom was shared.
