Actually there are TWO versions of the oath of office. For those people whose religious beliefs forbids them from 'swearing' an oath, you're allowed to substitute the word 'affirm' for the word 'swear'.
Note that only one President, Franklin Pierce in 1853, chose to use the word 'affirm' instead of 'swear', as was his right to do so as spelled out in the Constitution, also in Article II, Section 1, Clause 8.
“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
You can find these words in the Constitution.
