Thanks for asking, BAP.
Eye surgery went fairly well - we won't know exactly how successful it was for a little while yet. Sight has been interesting - they put a gas bubble in the eye at the end of the surgery - it's to act as a "band-aid" - this causes you to have to keep your head in a face-down position following the surgery. Then the gas bubble is slowly absorbed - while you have the bubble, it makes your vision in that eye totally blurred - I could see blobs of color - not nothing clear at all - then as the bubble is absorbed, the edge of it slowly comes into your line of vision - right now it's about half-way down the eye - above the bubble is fairly clear, below the edge of the bubble, it's still really blurred.
I also am seeing a small dark area - at first it was very sharp and very pronounced - the edges of it have blurred with time and it's smaller than it was at first - we're thinking that's where the repair was actually done - so we're praying that this area continues to reduce with healing - so right now, it's a waiting game.
I think I have Excel 2003 on one of my computers - I'll do some experimenting. When you say that macro recording doesn't work - what does it do or not do? After you record a macro, you should be able to edit it.
Sun :-)
