6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
WHERE did we first hear the commandment to love thy neighbor as thyself, which JESUS said was the SECOND GREATEST COMMANDMENT????
GOD is LOVE. He created us, made us, AFTER HIS OWN LIKENESS. He is perfect in all HIS ways. He did not create ANYTHING that was JUNK....... He looked upon ALL he had created and said it VERY GOOD! ALL.... Not some.....
That included every individual ever born. THEY ALL have a place in the heart of GOD and "HE is not willing that ANY (of them) should perish, but that ALL would come to repentance" 2 Peter 3: 9
Jesus said "if ye love me keep my commandments". John 14: 15
JOHN says here in this letter we are to WALK IN LOVE. Keep those things, commandments, that Jesus taught us, and SHOW OUR LOVE while letting others see JESUS living in us and through us!
