true pretty much anywhere you find it. in one generation it might be with the absolute ideal that all property is theft - so kill the rich. in another it might be that jews are greedy so kill the jews. in another it might be that government is intrinsically evil so bomb government buildings.
it's the muslims turn right now. a large minority of muslims want to impose their model of society on the rest of us. they think infidels are inferior. they believe apostates should be executed. etc.
time will purge islam of its forms of absolutism. in the long run, doubt and compassion are stronger forces than absolutism. but going through this phase is ugly. we have to suffer through the shouting of people with entirely silly and extreme views. and to restrict them and expose them for their inhumanity.
but absolutism will pop up somewhere else later. it always does.
