I have talked to several young, single people in FL, who have no insurance.
The reason they don't have is because they don't see the need and prefer to pay the fine instead of paying $300 a month. The women go to Planned Patenthood, and get stuff done once a year, and don't see the reason to pay more. You Nsurance in states without their own exchanges is more expensive, thanks to their repug governors.
That's fine with me. The fines from next tax cycle on will support the program itself, and it is better having uninsured who can get insurance at any time than people who are uninsured because they can't get insurance for medical reasons, etc.
