in the last qtr...institutions trimmed their holdings of idcc by roughly 1.6myn shares...on the other hand....idcc repurchased roughly 1.6myn shares...shorts decreased by 700,000....the implications are that mom and pop retail [collectively us] was a net seller of 700k shares to either the company or the shorts...so mom and pop [US] sold a higher percentage of their holdings[7.5%] than institutions[5.5%]...and the most active group in the 4th qtr were the shorts w/ a 17% decrease....who says they always win....they had to fight the company tooth and nail for shares in a rising market...its a shame US was so accommodating to the shorts!!!!
