HARRISON, N.Y. -- A retired White Plains police officer killed his two daughters before killing himself in their Harrison home Saturday, according to multiple reports.

The retired officer has been identified as 52-year-old Glen Hochman. The daughters have been identified as 17-year-old Alissa Hochman and 13-year-old Deanna Hochman.
Hochman's wife and third daughter were away at the Mohegan Sun Casino at the time of the shootings, News 12 reported. News 12 also reported the Hochmans were having marital problems.

The family pets were also killed, according to reports.
Hochman retired after 22 years on the job two weeks ago and was assigned to traffic in White Plains, according to a report on ABC 7. He had an unblemished record.

An area near Adelphi Avenue near West Street where the family lived has been roped off Saturday evening, according to LoHud.com.

Hochman earned the White Plains Police Department's Life Saving Award after he and a second officer gave a unresponsive man CPR in 2014.

Alissa Hochman was a senior at Harrison High School. In a posting on the school's district's website Saturday night, Schools Superintendent Lou Wool wrote: "With great sadness our district mourns the death of high school senior Alyssa Hochman, and her younger sister Deanna both lost to incomprehensible tragedy."

Wool said Harrison High School will open Sunday at noon with administrators, faculty and support staff "available to assist students and families."

Deanna Hochman was a student at the Windward School in White Plains, according to LoHud.com.

David Chong, White Plains' public safety commissioner, said in a statement that the White Plains Police Department "is shocked and horrified by the news of this tragic event. We can only pray for the Hochman family."
