I heard this on the way into work this morning while listening to the 'Thom Hartmann Show' on Sirius XM (it was brought-up during an exchange with a telephone caller): Well over 50% of the activities of the courts in this country, at both the state and federal levels, involves either individuals suing corporations or corporations suing other corporations. The times where it's only citizens involved, either in disputes between individuals or criminal cases where it's an individual versus the state, this is claiming significantly LESS than half the nation's judicial time and resources. It's amazing how corporations are becoming the dominate force in America, claiming the time and resources of all the branches of government yet they continue to insist that they be exempt from paying the taxes needed to support said institutions which they are dominating more and more each day.
