It's 90° at the moment and new high temperature records will be set all over SoCal today. When it snows in New England in the WINTER that does NOT mean that climate change is not real. However, when high temperature records ARE being set in the Winter, even if it is in SoCal, that does lend credence to what climatologists having been saying for years, that we are experiencing climate change and that there is a long term trend line. BTW, we've received LESS than 4 inches of rain here since July of last year. By this time of the season we should have gotten at least 9 inches of rain, and this is our 3rd or 4th year where will fall significantly short of our average annual rainfall. While high temps can be inconvenient, droughts can destroy.
