I was listening to someone who wrote a book or something like that about the over four thousand lynchings in recent American history, some of them being on par with what ISIS is doing to people.
For example, a couple, in early 1900s, was lynched in public in Mississippi, in front of a huge crowd including kids. Their fingers were cut one by one and passed around. Their ears were then cut and passed around. Then, they used corkscrews to drill into their bodies and extract innards, and finally they were thrown in a fire and burned.
A black guy as lynched for bumping into a white woman at a train station. A black guy was lynched for knocking by mistake on a white woman's door.
The discussion was about terrorism, and that terrorism in this country has been alive and well for a very long time. It is not new nor isolated to ...."Islamists".
The dna of those lynching, savage terrorists still permeats the south and everyone like them in the rest of the country
