I have a nephew and two close high school friends who were Annapolis graduates and Navy retirees. None of them could remotely be called assholes. They seem to have learned many manly and honorable traits.

One of my oldest friends is a graduation of Annapolis and retired as a captain a number of years ago. He likes to have his own way and can be a complete asshole at times.
