Looking around the premier league, it is amazing how many good attacking players there are. Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham each have amazing players in their front five. Some even have quality in depth in every position. Who wants to face the skill of the Arsenal front five, or the speed of Chelsea, or the opportunism of Spurs, or the transitional acceleration of Liverpool, or the galactic talent of Man Utd, or the finesse of City?

Along with the game plan variable, it's the defensive strength that looks like the material qualitative difference. Manchester United still looks weak to me in this department. Arsenal has just emerged from its weakness. Chelsea is exceptionally strong.

I think the Premier League has nearly bridged the quality gap with Bayern, Barca and Real Madrid and will be winning the champions league again soon.

Arsenal are my long shot to win the champions league this year. Not a big surprise! But injury free, we finally have a proper team again with probably the fastest wide players in attack of any team in the world through Walcott and Sanchez. Ox, Welbeck and Ozil are no slouches either.
