I was stuck in Boston once after a big storm closed the airport. The day after that storm it was beautiful, sunny and warm, streets were all clear, just that the storm had messed-up air travel so much that it took a couple of days before I could get a flight home. I spent the time walking around and exploring parts of the city I had not seen before. Most of the museums were open and so I had a great time. This was back when the old Computer Museum was still open down on the wharf.

We're ten miles from the ocean. I would love to be there to watch high tide, but the authorities really want us to stay off the roads.

I just shoveled my front walkway. Two to four feet of snow with drifting. Light as a feather!

Boston should be OK in a day or two. A few more inches of snow would have been really troublesome. Unfortunately, there is no melting in sight this week so snow will turn to ice, and it will get ugly looking with dangerous walking conditions.
