Failure to analyze and connect the dots is what allowed them to do it. Stupid couldn't figure out why an Arab wanted only to learn flying, no take offs, no landings of commercial jets. And stupid could not figure why there were a few doing that. And stupid received major warnings in August of flying jets into buildings and did not signal alert.
And stupid, even today doesn't get all that, mumbling shit to this day.

Libya was working on nuclear and chemical weapons.
Iran was working on developing the things necessary
. . . for a nuclear weapons program.
And, saddam Hussein was maintaining the ability to
resurrect his nuclear weapons program - if ever he
could get those pesky U.N. Arms Inspectors out of
his underwear drawers.
We invaded Iraq.
Khaddafi, of Libya, surrendered his nuclear and chemical
weapons programs and ambitions to the United States.
saddam Hussein's nuclear ambitions were permanently
eradicated.
Iran temporarily buried their nuclear weapons program.
There is much to be said for the proper application of a 'BIG Stick' at the right time.
And then a horse turd named Kerry - for purely political purposes - started
screaming 'we should not have invaded Iraq' . . .
and queen Pelosi promised the stinking Iranians SHE would keep the Big Bad Bush
from whupping up on them if they didn't stop trying to
make nukes.
