Maybe cops shouldn't crash into homes unannounced, without a search warrant, based on erroneous information, especially with so many assholes with guns in the red states.
Looks like the guy was defending his home, his wife, and himself from a home invasion.

But does that give him the right to shot a police officer? Besides, who's to say he's telling the truth? All they know for sure is that no 911 call was made from his house phone. There was no mention of his cell phone.
But you still have to ask yourself; if the racial roles in this story were reversed, what do you think the headline would have said, if the story had gotten any coverage at all?
