1.) Solar watts are expensive compared to other generation sources.

2.) Solar requires two sets of electrical generation.
. . .The cells and inverters, and the means to make

3.) Solar panels are somewhat fragile - especially
. . .when compared to the average nuke plant.

4.) While I'm pretty sure one could plant enough
. . solar panels in Nevada to power new York city . .
. . one can not get the watts from Nevada to new York.

5.) Where you try to put enough solar panels to make
. . the watts . . one can not grow food crops or trees.

Now, I do think we should be putting solar panels on
roof tops. With an eye towards replacing expensive
peak demand watts with not so expensive solar watts.
