The good news is that absolutism runs out of air in the end.

Catholicism's deployment of it ran its course.

When Hitler deployed it in German politics, at first it was seen as strength, but democracy defeated it.

When it visited Russia, and Berlin built its wall, the wall eventually fell opening the door to democracy on the other side.

These AQ guys will lose. The will of the people will upend submission to Allah's laws. Free speech will defeat closed-mindedness. But while candour is poured into the Islamic crescent, it will cause adherents of incumbent doctrines to rage. And they will respond by attempting to visit their compulsion upon those they perceive as a threat.

ijtihad is the key. in the end, it will unlock the door into the collective minds of those controlled by a fundamentalist view of islam. taqlid is not sustainable. the desire for tranquillity is stronger than the call of hatred. islam will remember this. And once again it will become a religion of peace.

Police attacks included in both the Belgian and French AQ plots. The Belgian plot revisited the same fake uniform trick played in Iraq.

I think they want to create the same chaos in the West as they have created in Iraq. Apparently this is the way they use to try to introduce Sharia.
