Mass rally for attack victims in Paris

A day of head-scratching has turned to anger as Americans wonder why their leaders snubbed today’s massive unity rally in Paris. Where were Obama, Biden and Holder?

Held in response to recent terror events, at least 40 world leaders joined millions of marchers through city streets.

It was hard not to feel moved by its enormity, yet the US was represented only by its ambassador, despite Attorney General Eric Holder’s presence in Paris and Obama’s open schedule. (Memo to Europeans: next time, make sure to add something golf-related to the event).

That has Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren seeing red, first complaining about the administration’s rudeness, then issuing an apology to the people of France, saying Obama “blew it”.

She also demanded to know why many in the American media have been silent on the matter.

From GretaWire, her apology:

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.
