hi clo,

you are trying to mush moslems in with other folks. but this is on a different level.

tolerance is usually a virtue but there is one thing a theory of a tolerant society cannot abide and that is intolerance.

in this case, we are talking about a kind of intolerance that is organised via a religion.

why should a western society built upon the virtues of freedom of speech (with some exceptions but excluding religion) accommodate a religion that spews out terrorists with regularity.

i guess it is because folks don't want to look at things that don't suit their values. but sometimes a nice value like being tolerant doesn't solve the problem.

it's rather like expecting a constitution that is designed for compromise to know how to deal with a republican party bent on not compromising. except in this case, lives are lost.

embracing islam is like hugging a cactus. you have to pretend you want to do it. but if you do, you bleed all the same.

Good morning Cactus Flower,

How can any country sort out all of the 'radicals'?

Radicals are cloaked in many different coats.
We have extremists here that oppose integration, gay marriage, abortions, etc.

To say nothing of religious fanatics.

France has been working hard to flush these Islamist's out.
Tragic!
