That's fine and more power to 'em.
That being said, the writer of the article is still perpetuating the lie being used by the Right in their argument to build Keystone. Look at the last sentence of the opening paragraph, which reads: "Just a few years back, America desperately wanted that oil."
Now while I have no problem with the above statement, it's just that it's being misused. Yes, it's true that America wanted the oil, but all along the untold story was that the Canadians had no interest in selling the oil to us Americans. They really wanted to sell their oil on the international market where it would command higher prices. Again, I have NO problem with that, just don't lie to us when you ask for our help.
