That's awkward for me. I'm getting my granddaughters ready for college, and am filling out financial forms and such for them. I'd like to file their family 2014 taxes ASAP.
I guess I won't bother going to the library for forms and instructions tomorrow.
I've already noticed one issue this year and that is that while some of the 2014 income tax forms are available for download from the IRS website, none of the instruction documents are available until January 31st. And it's not just a federal problem, again while some of the forms for my California taxes are available online, none of the instruction documents are available until the end of the month. Last year I downloaded everything I needed, for both state and federal taxes, on January 4th.
