I never updated you all on my end-of-the-year statistics.
For 2014, I was out of town on company business for 78 days and traveled 71,143 miles.
My average over the past 27 years is 62 days and 58,908 miles, so you can see that last year was well above average.
Not sure how this coming year will work out but I suspect that I'll hit at least the average. I only have one for certain overseas trip on the calendar, the annual P.A.C.E. Forum which this year will be in July in São Paulo, Brazil, but like this past year, additional time overseas could sneak in there on short notice. One thing is for sure, 2015 will the LAST YEAR that I'll be keeping track of company travel days and milage as I'll be retiring in January, 2016 after spending nearly 50 years in engineering and 35+ years with my current company.
