The biggest cause of a bad economy and high unemployment is laws passed by Congress and approved by the President. It is something that has been on going for 50 years. We need to get rid of lifetime members of Congress.

Poll: Americans More Worried About Politicians Than the Economy
by Andrew Desiderio | 12:50 pm, January 2nd, 2015

For the first time since 2007, Americans say the “most important problem” facing the country is not the economy — instead, it’s the politicians. That, according to a new Gallup survey released Friday that details what issues Americans were most worried about in 2014.

On average in 2014, 18 percent of Americans said “government/Congress/politicians” was the country’s biggest problem, 17 percent said the “economy in general,” 15 percent said “unemployment/jobs,” and 10 percent said “healthcare.” Other issues that did not poll as highly were immigration, the federal deficit, ethics and morality, education, poverty, and race relations.

From 2008 to 2013, Americans said the economy was the nation’s most important problem. For 4 years before that, it was Iraq. According to Gallup, 2014 was the first year ever that discontent with government topped this survey.
