It was 36º when we went to Mass early this morning and there was ice on the windshield of my car. It's going to be a sunny but cool New Years day here in SoCal.

We had rain yesterday afternoon and into the evening with snow down to as low as the 2000 ft level. All of the passes out of the LA basin were closed at one time or another so I guess you could say that for awhile, something like 20 million people were 'snowed in' Wink

But after the rain stopped the wind picked-up and we had as high as 45 mph winds overnight and it was around 37º early this morning. The house was really cold when we got up.
