exactly correct.

BAP, it is XP 32 bit with Service Pack 2.

I could send you SP 3 as a file to open and install but you likely do not need it for folding purposes.

I doubt highly this EVGA driver for the video card is going to bother the operating system one little bit either.

I agree with Arvee that is it standard microsoft windows warnings that are due to the fact they no longer support XP, and do not want anyone else to continue to use XP.

They want new software sales even if their operating systems like Windows 8 are just pure crapola.

Nobody wants it.

Go ahead and install that driver and see if you can get folding again. You are on the right track.

Sounds like standard alarmist disclaimer rhetoric to me, but that's just me. It's likely them saying that because as I noted previously, MS doesn't support XP anymore. Your call as always.
