How can a human kill another in cold blood.... how?

...either the person doing the killing has to be crazy or the killing itself has to be the lesser of two evils. For example, when a cop kills a gentle giant to save his own life and likely others.

After the senseless slaying of two officers, I start to question 'mankind'. How can a human kill another in cold blood.... how?

Today on Oprah's Soul Sunday I watched these monks create art with colored grains of sand & am in awe. Once they create their vision they scoop the sand up. This is a discipline meant to help their meditation.
