If it is covered by Medicare, Medicare sets the rate of payment and pays 100% under Medicare part A. Most of what supplements cover are part B expenses that Medicare pays at 80% and deductibles that are assessed at the first of the year. There are six or seven different levels of coverage that one can buy when they get a Medicare supplement. What is covered is pretty much set by law in each plan but the difference is in what they charge for premiums which varies from company to company. We advise everyone to check rates every year during the open enrollment period when all plans have to accept anyone who already has a supplement who wants to join regardless of health conditions.

To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time.
