I'm all for reenacting Glass Steagal.
Problem is, those you put in Congress and Senate now, will never do that.
It just highlights the plight of those of us who want these suckers to work for us, for the country, and not for those who fund them, and their personal fortunes. Because they all come out millionaires out of that place.
It just shows how stupid people are. And the rest have to rely on misinformation to make judgements.

Frank Dodd had nothing to do with actually addressing
the causes of the sub prime meltdown six years ago.
It was a power grab - a bald faced attempt to enable
the government to exert more control over things they
haven't a clue how work.
What should have been done after the sub prime melt
down - was to re-enact Glass Steagall. One of the
problems was Wall Street playing fast and loose with
mortgages . . . something Glass Steagall had barred
them from doing. And, in case you didn't notice,
there is still nothing keeping Wall Street from dabbling
with consumer loans, car loans, student loans . . .
By the way, gay boys frank and dodd's financial reform
scam bill has made my life miserable. In several
different ways that only dramatically increased the
amount of red tape and paperwork in my personal life.
