Hi Cactus Flower,

I think its good to try to be exceptional, everyone should try to be their best.

I also think humility & grace are important characteristics ;))

Nobody likes a braggart, or a bully.

As an aside, just paid $2.89 for gas, I was jubilant!
and there's another station cheaper, but not in the direction I was headed.

Well that was always fantasy. Those things are only ever remotely likely to be true when someone else says them about you. When you say them about yourself, it is called tooting your own horn.

A lot of Americans need to become okay with just being human. It's not healthy to want to be exceptional.
