Those goals were accomplished under Bush. It was HIS goal to fight for Israel. He would have even "liberated Syria" with Mccain and the other numbskulls.
Obama is repairing his mistakes, while also trying to fix Bush's. He will not liberate Syria, he will not let Afghanistan to the Taliban, nor Iraq to those assholes, and he will not allow threats as he keeps wiping them out with drones and special forces. And he will do all that without US casualties and waging wars budgets. It is not pretty, nor straightforward, and the short memoried-fearful-ejamaculated keep barking, but it suits our economy and soldiers, and our interests to a tee.
Several of Israel's goals have been accomplished - Wrecking Syria, fracturing Iraq, screwing the Palestinians, swamping Jordan and Lebanon with unwanted refugees, and putting the entire Arab Middle East in turmoil and revolution. Still working on Iran and making Ukraine safe for the oligarchs.
Israeli corporations are doing much better since the NSA is doing industrial espionage for them. It's always good to know what the competition is thinking.
