Alea......

well that's how it works,so why can't i insert bank?

when a paper pork belly is worth as much as a physical
pork belly & you allow a group of people to create as
many paper pork bellies as they want,is it any wonder they
run the pork belly planet?

the fact that i say the government is not the efficient mechanism does not mean you should think you can insert a bank into my mouth instead.

if you have bothered to read my posts you will know i have talked frequently about bank regulation. splitting traditional banks from investment companies seems sensible to me. taking away one-sided commissions seems sensible in some ways as folks will take perverse risks.

what folks invest in when transacting business in well regulated markets is up to them.

and no, since your next post will likely say i think the markets are well-regulated, i didn't just say that. i kinda said the opposite. incentives are often perverse.
