of course the money supply is one lever. as is fiscal policy. as is defence. as is what is taught to kids. as is how you police. etc etc etc.

government is complicated. so are societies.

the reason communism and socialism don't work is that controlling decisions sensibly from the top-down is not feasible.

consequently, many decisions get made from the bottom-up. the ones that work tend to flourish. the decisions that don't work tend to end up doomed.

of course governments control many levers. to a great extent these levers are in plain sight. the federal reserve follows more than a single prerogative (growth and employment), reports its decisions, justifies itself to committees etc. pretty good system.

The principle that if you control the nations money supply,
you control the nation is the mechanism of how this all
works.....simple stuff & no conspiracy theory needed,the
words came out the man's mouth!
