Using the labeling argument attempts and usually works because of the ignorance of most of the people. When you label someone as like a conspiracy theorist or a socialist or a communist you are using a means which the US government is especially good at btw to "delegitimize" a viewpoint that is opposed to your own , it's most always used by those who are in the wrong and don't want anyone to find out the real truth such as the labeling of Saddam Hussein and anyone else that the US government wants out of the way ! It really is plain to see and its not living in some dark world its just facing and admitting reality .
