You read things in that you seem to wish me to believe.

In fact I was just pointing to the fallacy in your argument. Even if you suggest hypocrisy in the US, that doesn't justify whatever Putin is doing in Ukraine.

It almost seemed like in that one post that you allowed for a cover for the spread of democracy no matter how its being done , the ends justify the means sort of thing . Is "democracy" the goal for all mankind ? And which country is going to make "sure" everyone stays true to those democratic ideals ? The us government ? As if they have been a shining example for the Las 100 years or so or ever in their whole history . And since when did democracy become the ideal form of government ? Democracy is made out to be great but all others are disparaged as inferior or intrinsically evil . Yet if one truly understands democracy and how it works it allows for the worst kind of human government imaginable , majority rules or is that mob rules ? If the majority of the people in a particular country are desperately wicked more than likely they are going to vote in someone who is like them or is supportive of their behavior no matter how wrong it may be but thats how democracy really works , the majority rules . How is it then that the us has gone into other like lybia , Egypt the Ukraine and others and either overthrowd or attempts to overthrow democratically elected governments such as the Ukraine? It appears that the president of the Ukraine was legitimately and democratically elected by even western accounts yet the us didn't respect that and went in about a year ago and stirred up another one of their color revolutions, using neo nazis I might add ,to overthrow that democratically elected president in the Ukraine !

The US government didn't want this guy as president because he was pro Russian and was interfering with their agenda in that part of the world. Funny that he was elected democratically, the people voted democratically, the majority ruled yet the us refused to accept it and used bloodshed to change the Ukrainian peoples legitimate and democratic decision! Which btw the US did this same thing in the Ukraine about ten years ago to overthrow someone else who didn't fit in their agenda using these color revolutions. Based on this and many other examples could be given , should the US government be the overseer of all the democratically elected governments around the world ? Apparently they have appointed themselves as overseer's of the world's government's democratically elected or not , even though they haven't even come close to obeying those ideals themselves. Unfortunately they have the military might to uphold or enforce their "democratic" ideals especially in countries that really have no way of defending their countries from the military machine of the US government, might makes right doesn't it ? Some people would call that cowardly to always march into other countries that you know they have no chance of beating you to force your own personal brand of "democracy" on them ! What a deal
