No the goal is to get their natural resources whether it be oil minerals precious metals or a combination of the above. The debt game is but one way of doing it . The US debt is meaningless for the most part as long as they have the military might , the ability to print money as they see fit to fund that military machine and no one really to challenge their hegemony . Which is why you see the US demonizing Putin/Russia and China they are becoming a threat to the US continuation of its goal to enslave the whole world under its one world government wings . And they aren't wings of freedom I'll add.
Another reason for the hatred of Putin and China and rouseff in Brazil and Iran and Iraq is there desire to get away from the slavery to the US dollar, think BRICS especially only being able to trade oil with using the dollar . Saddam Hussein bit the dust because he neither would let US companies in on his oil bonanza and he was seeking to trade his oil in other currencies besides or instead of the dollar . Which is I have read that is really one of the main issues with Iran trading oil in other currencies other than the dollar . Some of these or maybe all except Iraq now are trading small amounts in other currencies not just oil and this is a big threat to the US if they trade a large part or all of their oil in rubles or yuans or the real or lira . You see Turkey is now getting involved in this also and very possibly because of the backstabbing double dealing ways of the US government, many nations are tired of the double dealing ways of the US government and the usury of the US controlled world bank and imf .
