that's what is called an argument from the extremes. well-known fallacy.

to make your argument, you turn assault into an insult, a 12 year old into a five year old, an object that looks like a real gun into a toy and now a car into a gun.

how about just sticking to arguing about what is in front of us? you'll find an opposing view easier to understand and your argument will stand on its own legs instead of crutches.

So 46 cops were killed in traffic accidents & 33
killed by firearms in 2013 & none it seems by 12 year
olds with toy guns......so the next time you
go driving & a cop is shooting at your car,it's
because they are a greater threat to their lives
than firearms are!

The annual report from the nonprofit National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund also found that deaths in the line of duty generally fell by 8 percent and were the fewest since 1959.

According to the report, 111 federal, state, local, tribal and territorial officers were killed in the line of duty nationwide this past year, compared to 121 in 2012.

Forty-six officers were killed in traffic related accidents, and 33 were killed by firearms. The number of firearms deaths fell 33 percent in 2013 and was the lowest since 1887.
