when the case emerges that someone is shot for insulting a police officer, i'm with you all the way.
my own memory is that examples of police officers doing crazy stuff like that simply don't exist.
i do get that black communities feel over-policed. not sure how to address that as the police will tell you they police where the crime is and if the crime is in black communities, that's where they go.
i also think shooting someone who is unarmed and fleeing is ridiculous, but i am no expert on louisiana law and it is up to voters there how thy want to frame the law and police powers so long as they conform with the civil rights that belong to folks.
no one's civil rights include beating up a police officer.
