Here's another perspective: Obama is a guy caught between what he learned, that there is no such a thing as Arab spring-it is just an opportunity for jihadist assholes to come out, and what the American public has not learned-that you can't force ancient cultures that have survived and swallowed Attila the Han, the Romans, the Turks, and everything in between, with military might and shock and awe. That's for the NASCAR crowd.
So, what he is doing is trying not to have any more American soldiers killed in the name of shock and awe. His method will work in corking the ISIS bottle. Every sign points that way. Sooner or later their fkng leader will die, and his lieutenants will die more. The fact that they are getting Sunnis to join the Iraqi army is smart. They will fight. Syria is the result of idealist American assholes who pushed for the Arab Spring. Obama went along my with that as Egypt had not yet become a lesson. Now that it has, he ain't doing NOTHING to Assad, no matter how high the screams are. Does Israel want those jerks on its borders or Assad? The answer to the question proves my point.
You guys here are still too naive, like most US born and raised who lack understanding of the world beyond the oceans.
