Made it home from the Mid-West last night, after having my morning flight from Dayton to Dallas cancelled and having to take a later flight through Chicago I finally got home just after sunset. Boy was it getting cold in Southern Ohio. On Wednesday it dropped something like 30º in a couple of hours. Yesterday morning when I left for the airport it was just a few degrees above 20º, however, it was much warmer here in SoCal.
My knee is still giving me lots of problems and I see the doctor on Monday. It looks like I will not be going back to Germany in December, as there is just too much walking involved and too many staircases to negotiate (Europe is not as set up for the handicapped as we are used to here).
I will probably still do my annual trek up to my alma mater leaving this coming Wednesday as that will be mostly flying and driving with a limited amount of walking. Besides, the cold will keep the swelling down
