how many times have we seen a muted reaction to what we know is good news....only to have it kick in days later...there are two things i can say...short term traders are almost always selling into the good news,because all news is anticipated to some degree [ie we knew guidance was due...and there was a fair chance it was going to be good}...the other reason why moves are muted the day of news is because 75% of the shares are owned institutionally...and these guys are less likely to make knee jerk reactions...today hasnt sucked...nice orderly trade,no gaps,decent appreciation
