Well it's now Sunday afternoon and my bag is still in Dussledorf. It seems that there's but a single airline flying only 2 or 3 flights a day from Dussledorf to Stuttgart and the plane is so small that they can only put on 2 or 3 extra bags per flight and so it often takes 2 or 3 days to catch-up with the backlog. And adding to the problem is that there are no stores open on Sunday so I can't even buy extra cloths until Monday morning. The hotel was able to supply some toiletries so at least I can stay clean, but I've only got one pair of pants, shirt and socks (I do have extra underwear as I carry a 'spare' in my briefcase for emergencies).
I'm getting a bit old for this sort of stuff and that retirement date is starting to look more attractive all the time.
