I never expected SS to still be around. I planed for my retirement without it. As for working, I have about a city block to maintain, mowing, etc. If I had to go back to work, I would. I am only 70. I spent 10 of the last 12 years taking care of Mom. She passed away two years ago. Caring for her was more work than most jobs, but in all things, family first.

As for 'takers', that is most of the problems with America today. America needs to go back to families taking of families. Be a good neighbor but do not expect hand outs from others. If you earn $1,000 a month, live on $950 and save $50 for the future.

Good for you, but isn't that because you're too old to work?

And Social Security?

Enjoy, but stop being an asshole about others you wrongfully view as takers.
