And you think that the minimum wage as it is is what people deserve to get back for a day's work.

The walking working poor. No one should go hungry, a place to live, who works a full time job. No one.

I have one year of college. I went back to work to earn enough money to go another year and got drafted. On that job I was talking about, I got promoted to asst. manager. It was straight pay. I came in at 8 and worked until around 8, six days a week. Later on I decided to open my own business. That was when I learned that banks only loaned money to people who did not need it. I got a night job rebuilding railroad cars so that I could keep my store open in the day. After about five years I got a better paying job and closed my business.
I worked hard all my life and now I am retired. I have enough income to feed the stray cats about $100 a week in 'cat' food, (chicken, cheese, bologna, etc.).
