It is interesting to note that if we were going to have a third world shithole in America, Barack Obama had his chances to create it, or allow it to happen, in the aftermath of George W. Bush's disastrous eight years in office that immediately preceded him. President Obama inherited an economy ready to plunge off of the edge and his decisions made during those immediate months after he took office kept us from having that third world shithole that would have come about if he had made the wrong calls or had done nothing at all. As a matter of fact, what we might have had would have made a third world shithole look tame.



To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time.

I'm surprised FDR didn't allow Nazis to immigrate to the U.S. during WWII to show that he was not prejudiced against Germans.

As the United States carries out yet another bombing campaign across two Islamic countries, the Obama administration is redoubling its efforts to stanch the flow of radicalized young Muslim Americans traveling to Syria to join the fight and potentially returning as well-trained militants to carry out attacks here.

American law enforcement and intelligence officials say more than 100 Americans have gone to Syria, or tried to so far. That number of Americans seeking to join militants, while still small, was never seen during the two major wars fought in Afghanistan and Iraq after the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
