North and South Korea exchange fire

(CNN) -- North and South Korea exchanged fire Friday, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported, citing military sources.
Balloons from the South bearing leaflets critical of the government in the North drew fire from northern forces.
Some of those shots landed south of the border, and South Korean forces fired back in response, Yonhap reported.
