Iran Frees WaPo Reporter’s Wife

Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian is still being help captive by the Iranian government but his wife was released last week, according to the Post.
The two were detained by the Iranian government in late July for unknown reasons, though Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in an interview with NPR that Rezaian was being interrogated “for what he has done as an Iranian citizen.”
Rezaian’s wife, Yeganeh Salehi, was released on bail. His brother told the Post in an email that Salehi has since visited her husband in jail and that the two of them are in good physical health.
