Thank you, Zim.

I don't believe munis are advisable in a 401k or IRA account. I'll be talking to my wife's financial advisor on Monday. Trying to ascertain some meaningful questions.

Corporate bonds were not paying very well . . .
Last few months / years.

Municipal bonds currently (two weeks ago when I last
checked) have a higher dividend yield than the
corporate bonds - usually corporate is supposed to
have a higher yield because the muni's are federal
tax free.

I just checked, my bond fund (corporate type) has a
yield of 3.4%, while my municipal bond funds are
running 4.3% and 4.7%.
