It is a bit lonely around here today! My faithful companion Lucy the cat was left at the vet’s office for the week that we will be gone to Ribit’s neck of the woods on a seven day trip. We normally leave her here to her own devices but she was diagnosed this morning with early stage renal failure and the family vet wants to put her on a therapy that might prolong her life for another two or three years if it is successful. There are things that money cannot buy and Lucy is one of them but if our money can buy her another few years with an excellent quality of life then we are up for it. Lucy will be twenty next May 24th.
To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time. |
